1. How do you order products on your website?
Ordering from our website is very straightforward. Simply call us on 01895 622268 during our opening hours, and speak to a member of our Customer Service Team. They will be able to advise you, and take your payment over the phone.
2. Why can't I place and pay for my order online?
At FMS Mobility Centres we believe that when it comes to the purchase of items of significant monetary value, such as those depicted on our website, prospective customers like to have the reassurance of speaking to someone at the point of purchase. This also allows us to offer advice, and ensure that the product they are about to purchase is the right one for their needs.
3. I don't fully understand how to exempt myself from VAT?
The rules relating to VAT exemption can appear complex. To simplify matters, we have put together a summary page on the website which you can get to by clicking here. If, after reading it you require further help or advice, please give us a call on 01895 622268 during our opening hours, and we will be pleased to help. If you believe that you qualify for VAT exemption, and wish to purchase off our website, then in order to complete a sale without being charged VAT, you will need to complete and return a VAT exemption form to us, which you can download by clicking here.
4. What are your opening hours?
We are open Monday - Friday: 9:30am - 5:00pm, and Saturdays: 10:00am - 4:00pm
5. Can I order products outside of your opening hours?
No. At present we believe for the reason stated in answer (2) above, that the best interests of our customers are served by being able to speak to a fully trained member of staff at the point of purchase, and that can only take place during our normal opening hours.
6. Do you deliver goods to destinations outside of the United Kingdom?
No. This website is for United Kingdom customers only. The prices quoted are for delivery to mainland Britain which includes England, Wales and Scotland. We can deliver to Northern Ireland, however, we will have to charge a supplement to cover the extra cost of so doing. For further information on supplementary charges for delivery to Northern Ireland, please call Customer Services on 01895 622268 during our opening hours.
7. How long will I have to wait for my order to be delivered?
Delivery on all products (excluding bespoke riser/recline chairs) is 48 hours. Delivery on bespoke riser/recline chairs is up to four weeks.
8. I have seen the same product cheaper elsewhere, will you price match?
Yes, provided that the product is the same make and model, brand new and unused, and available for sale with immediate delivery from a reputable mainland U.K. supplier.
9. Will I be able to use the product straight out the box?
All our prices are for 'boxed' items. This means that the products are shipped to you, direct from the manufacturer. In the majority of cases the set-up time involved won't be that long. If you prefer, we can deliver the product to you already set-up by us, however, there will be an extra cost involved. 10. Are all your products U.K. sourced and warranted?
Yes. All our products are brand new, and sourced from within the U.K. direct from the distributors/manufacturers. We do not use grey imports. In the majority of cases, the warranty will be for a period of 12 months from the date of purchase. 11. Do you sell other products than those shown on your website?
Yes. The website shows only our best-selling products. If you can't find what you are looking for, please give us a call on 01895 622268. We can supply all the leading brands such as: Shoprider / Pride / Days Healthcare / Invacare / Sunrise Medical etc.
